Sainte Anne-de-Beaulieu is a small town in La Cote-de Beauprée Regional County, Quebec, Canada, on the St Lawrence River, thirty kilometers north-west of Montreal. The town is located at the headwaters of the St Lawrence River. The population counted at 2,803 in the 2020 census. The town is one of the few towns along the river that is actually in the river itself.

Sainte Anne has a few points of interest that might interest you as you travel in this part of Canada. It is known as the oldest community in Canada and was named by French Canadian fur trapper John de Sainte. This is probably where the term "Sainte Anne" was derived from.

There are many attractions on a day trip to Sainte Anne, but if you are looking for a more relaxing day in this small town, you might want to visit the Sainte Anne Riverfront Park. There are several beautiful picnic tables and benches located in this park to enjoy the sun and the view of the river. The park also features a few restaurants for lunch or dinner. In fact, some of the restaurants are open all day long. You will also find the area is home to an aquarium and a rock climbing area that are open to visitors each day of the week.

Another thing to do in Sainte Anne is to spend some time fishing. One of the most famous spots for fishing is the Belle Soleil. You can find a number of fishing boats on the river that will allow you to catch some fine trout. On the other hand, you could catch some char on the St Lawrence River if you choose to go for a fly in. Of course, you could catch some redfish or salmon if you like.
